The New York Daily News is reporting that the G4 Network, home of Ninja Warrior and hours upon hours of live coverage from the floor of San Diego Comic Con, is rebranding itself the Esquire Network as of April 22nd.
According to the article, which leads with a picture of Olivia Munn surrounded by Stormtroopers, the new network will focus on the “full range of the modern man’s interests,” including “food, fashion, women, humor, travel, danger, competition and entertainment.”
Only two new shows were mentioned in the article, a cooking show and an Anthony Bourdaine centered show. The new network will also show reruns of Party Down and Parks and Recreation.
Missing from the announcement is any mention of whether or not The Esquire Network will maintain G4′s tradition of broadcasting from the floor of San Diego Comic Con.
